Thanksgiving Place Cards and Table Printables for a Cozy Fall Table

You don't need a craft store haul to set a beautiful Thanksgiving table. A few well-designed printables, some cardstock and a pair of scissors can make an ordinary folding table feel like a special occasion, and they give guests something to read and do while the turkey rests.

Easy table ideas

• Place cards: write names in your best handwriting, or let a child do it. Place cards also quietly solve the "who sits next to Uncle Ray" problem.
• A menu card: list each dish and who brought it. It's a nice nod to potluck cooks and helps guests with allergies.
• Gratitude cards: leave a "What are you thankful for?" card at each seat and read them aloud over dessert. It's a gentle tradition that kids love.
• Trivia: a quick Thanksgiving quiz keeps everyone at the table between dinner and pie.

Tips for printing table decor

• Use matte cardstock (65 to 110 lb) so place cards stand up and don't curl.
• Print one test page first to check colors and margins.
• A paper trimmer gives cleaner edges than scissors when you're cutting a dozen place cards.
