Funny Pun Christmas Cards (Cute Animal Puns, Printable)

A good Christmas pun is the dad joke everybody secretly enjoys. Pair it with a cozy watercolor animal and you get a card that makes people laugh without being snarky, which is why pun cards work for nearly everyone: friends, coworkers, in-laws and kids.

Our favorite holiday puns

• Fleece Navidad (a sheep in a scarf)
• Merry Christmoose and Merry Christmoo
• Have a Fox-tastic Christmas
• Gnome for the Holidays
• Owl Be Home for Christmas, a sweet one for family far away
• Have an Egg-cellent Christmas, for anyone with backyard hens

Tips for sending pun cards

• Match the animal to the person: a moose for the friend in Maine, chickens for the homesteader.
• Own it: "I'm not sorry about the pun" is a perfectly good message.
• Sending lots? A bundle gives you variety so nobody compares cards and finds a duplicate.
