Last-Minute Christmas Cards You Can Print in 10 Minutes

It's December 23rd, there's a party tomorrow, and you just realized you need a card for the host. Stores are picked over and shipping is out of the question. This is exactly the situation printable cards were made for.

The 10-minute plan

1. Pick and buy a design (2 minutes). Etsy delivers digital files immediately after checkout.
2. Download the PDF (1 minute) from your Etsy purchases page or the email Etsy sends.
3. Print on the heaviest paper you have (3 minutes). Cardstock is ideal, but bright white printer paper folded around a backing sheet works in a pinch.
4. Trim and fold (3 minutes). Use the trim marks and a ruler; a butter knife scores a crisp fold.
5. Write one heartfelt line (1 minute) and sign.

No envelope?

A 5x7 card fits an A7 envelope, but you can also fold a sheet of printer paper into a simple wrap, or hand the card over with a gift and skip the envelope.

Instant-download cards for last-minute needs

A bundle is the best insurance for a busy December: one download gives you a design for nearly anyone who turns up on your list late. For more detail on paper and printers, see how to print a 5x7 card at home, and if you're stuck on wording, borrow a line from our message ideas.
